July 4, 2008 Washington (dbTechno) - 2K Games, the publisher of Bioshock, has revealed that four different development studios are currently hard at work to port the Xbox 360 and PC hit Bioshock over to the Sony PS3 console. On top of 2K Boston and 2K Australia, which were the original developers of the game on the Xbox 360 and PC, 2K Marin and Digital Extremes are helping port the game over to the PS3. The development studio 2K Marin is said to be made up of many guys who worked on the original Bioshock. Digital Extremes has a resume which includes Dark Sector on the PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as Unreal Tournament 2004. There is no word on which studio is working on what, but they are all united to produce the best possible experience on the PS3.
