Former 200m breaststroke world record-holder Brendan Hansen has suffered a shock defeat at the US Olympic trials. Hansen had held the fastest time over the distance until June 8 when Japanese rival Kosuke Kitajima shattered it a swim of 2min 07.51 in Tokyo.
