The stronger warnings need to be placed on arthritis and autoimmune drugs from Amgen, Wyeth, and Johnson & Johnson. This comes after fungal infections linked to the drugs have resulted in nearly 50 deaths. The FDA posted the new warnings on their site, showing that they pose a major risk for fungal infections. They found in a recent study that 241 patients have developed histoplasmosis, with 45 dying from an infection.
