Albert Pujols played the past season with a right elbow full of more harm than good: a torn ligament, nerve damage, bone spurs and arthritis. All he did was pretty much what he always does, finishing with a .357 batting average, 37 homers and 116 runs batted in.

His performance left some wondering what he might accomplish if healthy. Next season, he hopes, everyone will find out.
