Foote, who was released by the Steelers this week, met with the Lions management and coaches Tuesday and was offered a one-year deal. He and the Lions have agreed on the contract value but were still finalizing the payment schedule and guaranteed portion of the deal Tuesday night. "It's like 90% done," Foote said. Foote, who played for Detroit Pershing and the University of Michigan, is scheduled to take a physical for the Lions Wednesday morning. Foote was scheduled to make $2.8 million for the Super Bowl champion Steelers and would surely have to take less than that...
