PONTE VEDRA BEACH - Tiger Woods admitted Tuesday that his comeback from knee surgery has taken longer than expected, even though he has one victory and three other Top 10s.

After failing to take advantage of opportunities to win at both the Masters and Quail Hollow Championship, Woods turns his attention to the Players Championship this week, still waiting for everything to "put all the pieces together.

"I'm starting to feel a little better," he said. "I think that's probably been the surprising thing......how long it takes. I've had knee surgeries before and you pop right back because obviously they weren't as extensive as what I've been through."

Woods thinks things will improve because he's finally able to work on his game after a round. "Last week is the first time I've been able to practice after a round," he said of Quail Hollow, where he finished fourth.
