May 13, 2008 Washington (dbTechno) - Apple Inc. has announced that they are sold out of the iPhone at their online stores in both the U.S. and U.K. This is leading many to believe that Apple is ready to launch a new model of the iPhone, possibly with 3G support. Apple has come out and stated that both the 8GB and 16GB models off of the Apple iPhone are now sold out at the official Apple online stores. This means that either sales have spiked quite a bit, or Apple is ready to release the 3G iPhone. Apple did not confirm if they would even replenish their inventory of the two models as of yet. It is believed that the new model of the iPhone will be unveiled by Steve Jobs at the June 9 developer conference. The limited supply in the U.S. and U.K. has led many analysts to believe this is a precursor to a new model. Source: dBTechno
